Privacy Policy.

Privacy is one of the three rules our products are built by. This policy explains, in plain language, what knettsolutions.com collects, why, and what we will never do with it.

1. Introduction and scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the website at knettsolutions.com and www.knettsolutions.com (the “Site”), operated by Knett IT Infrastructure and Solutions Private Limited, trading as Knett Solutions (“Knett”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

It does not apply to Roleora or any other Knett product. Roleora is provided at roleora.com under its own privacy policy. We act as the Data Fiduciary for personal data processed through the Site, under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”).

3. What we collect

The Site is largely a static, informational website, so we collect very little.

We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies, and we do not build advertising profiles.

4. Why we process it

We process personal data only for clear, limited purposes, on the lawful bases permitted by the DPDP Act:

• To respond to you, and to run the launch list. When you write to us or ask to join the launch list. We rely on your consent for the launch list, and you can withdraw it at any time.
• To operate and secure the Site. Including preventing abuse. We rely on the legitimate uses permitted under the DPDP Act and on our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

5. How we share it

We share personal data only where necessary:

• Service providers. The Site and its contact endpoint run on Microsoft Azure, which processes data on our behalf as our hosting provider. Email you send us is handled through our email provider.
• Legal requirements. We may disclose data where required by law or by a lawful request from a competent authority.
• Business transfers. If the business or its assets are transferred, data may move with it, with notice where required.

We do not share your data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

6. Where it is stored, and security

• Personal data is hosted on Microsoft Azure. We prefer infrastructure in India where it is available.
• We protect data in transit using TLS/HTTPS, and apply reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to a website of this kind.
• No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take security seriously and review our measures.

7. How long we keep it

• Launch list emails. Until you withdraw consent or unsubscribe, or until we close the list, whichever is earlier.
• Correspondence. For as long as needed to handle your query, and for a reasonable period afterward.
• Technical logs. For a limited period (typically up to 12 months), then deleted or anonymized.

8. Your rights under the DPDP Act

As a Data Principal, you have the right to:

• Access. Ask what personal data we hold about you.
• Correction. Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Erasure. Ask us to delete your data where it is no longer needed or you withdraw consent, subject to any legal retention duties.
• Withdraw consent. At any time, without affecting processing already carried out.
• Grievance redressal. Raise a complaint and have it addressed (see section 13).
• Nominate. Nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity.

To exercise any right, email contact@knettsolutions.com with the subject “Data Rights Request”. We aim to acknowledge within 72 hours and respond within 30 days.

9. International users

The Site is operated from India. If you access it from outside India, you do so on your own initiative. We apply core data-protection principles (purpose limitation, data minimization, accuracy, and security) consistent with frameworks such as the GDPR, although we are not certified under them.

10. Children

The Site is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. Processing a child’s personal data requires verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Links to other sites

The Site links to roleora.com and may link to other websites. Those sites operate under their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new “last updated” date, and, for material changes affecting registered contacts, give reasonable notice.

13. Contact and grievance redressal

Questions, requests, or complaints about privacy can be sent to our Grievance Officer:
